Azalea Festival 2006
Karl's Kids was a major sponsor of the two-day Fun Dog Show and many of our
local volunteers helped throughout the animal area.

Saturday and Sunday Dog Show
Registration began at 11:00 am
At 1:00 p.m. Dog Show opened with the American Flag presented by Lee Pooley,
retired 20-year Navy Veteran, and his 24-year old Quarter Horse, Cody.

Chantel Boas entertained Saturday in the Opening Ceremony with her lovely voice.

The Doggie Comfort Station was located at Karl's Kids Booth.  Putnam County
Sheriff's Office had K9 demos both days throughout the afternoon.  Free doggie
games were held both days.  Water Glass Course and Musical Rugs.  There was a
minature horse presentation at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.  
North Florida Arabian
Horse Club was represented at the Azalea Festival.  Day Dreamin' Designs
Specialty T-shirt Vendor was on site with Azalea Festival T-shirts.

As a fund raising activity, Karl's Kids hosted a Coloring Contest.
Donation $0.50 per coloring page.
Winners from each category will have coloring posted on the Karl's Kids Website.  
Age Groups  under 6, 6-9, 10-13, 14 and up.
Funds raised will go to help in upcoming activities of Chimo's Cuddles, Deb's
Dream, Safety4Kids, and the many other projects of the Program.
